the diamond in the rough.

  If there's one thing I've come to learn very well in these past few weeks, it's love. Love has multiple meanings..it can be when a person loves the song that's playing on the radio, a man can love the woman he got down on one knee for, a little boy can love the grandmother who tucks him in at night.. the list is endless.

 Love is the one thing that we always carry with us, each and every day. It leads us to make decisions that will change the rest of our lives, it gives us butterflies in our stomachs, and it has our heart pounding louder than usual.
 
  Love has no limit, but love, like everything else in the world, has boundaries. I've learned personally through experience just how fragile something so grand can be. I've also watched from the side-line as the people I love have discovered these barriers themselves. Love, in itself, is like glass; in seconds it can shatter into a million irreplaceable pieces.. pieces that can be mended, but never fully put back together into the whole form from which they began. The catch to love, is that even if it's not the way we imagined it to be, love will always find a way.

  I've learned very quickly, in the short years I've lived on this earth, that love is one aspect I will always live by. Love has taught me many things.. It has taught me about the unconditional bond I share with my Savior, it has taught me to love everything as much as possible until the moment I take my last breathe, it has taught me that it is better to give than to receive, it has taught me about the person whom I want to become..but most importantly it has showed me just exactly who I am.
