moment 4 LIFE: the FALLs.

As I was walking down the path that lay before me, I began to hear a roar. It wasn't thunder, nor was it a lawn mower that I expected to see cutting the grass that stretched throughout the park. It sounded as if I was at an airport, and all the jets were starting up ready to take off but this roar wasn't coming from any jet., but instead, a simple natural wonder..FALLS.

Let me first start out by thanking the readers of my previous posts and my most recent one that's tracking my journey.. DESTINATION: CANADA. I'm back, and with MUCH much more to tell. So get cozy in your chair and wrap up in your covers, because this is going to be BIG.

The morning started out with a refreshing shower that was then followed by a pretty good breakfast; yoplait yogurt..now that stuff is GOOD. After that, we packed up the car and got on the interstate..luckily, this drive was only about an hour and a half. *sighs of relief* ..before arriving to our destination, we came up on a city that struck me by surprise;; BUFFALO. Now it's not your average New York City but it's definitely a nice site to see if you enjoy cities like I do. About 20 minutes later we came to a place that has been the ice on the cake of this trip so far..yes, what I'm about to tell you connects to my first paragraph; we had reached our destination;; NIAGARA FALLS.

Now let me tell you, my camera probably hates me by now..being that I've taken loads of pictures with it, especially of the falls. Niagara Falls was all in all beautiful. It had been the first time I'd ever seen a waterfall so massive. We stood by the railing and got the normal family photos and pictures..the normal tourist task. Then, we bought tickets to what has been by far the most fun I've yet to have- The Maid of the Mist. For those of you who don't know, Maid of the Mist is a boat ride that goes right up on the falls..and it is SWEEET. I got to put on this fancy blue poncho and ride on top of the ship. The thing I least expected out of Niagara would be the wind. Word of Advice: TAKE A HAT. I wish I would've. As we came upon the Canadian Falls, the mist and wind swept right into me. It hits you like that., but it's enjoyable. When we got back to the dock we ate at Hard Rock Cafe, it was DELISH..and then we waved our goodbyes to The Falls, as well as the United States.

That's right, I'm in Canada. An entirely different country from the one I was in this morning. It's pretty amazing if you think about it. If you've ever been in a different country you'll know what I mean (shoutout to Aunt Kala!) Customs didn't take that long, being that I'm not a terrorist and didn't have anything to hide we flew through there..but man lemme tell ya, the guys that work the border gates are TOUGH. Another Word of Advice: DON'T LIE TO THE CUSTOM GUYS.. it might end badly. We then converted out cash to Canadian cash and checked into the hotel in which I now currently sit. After getting situated we walked across the street to the Niagara Skyline, a HUGE Ferris Wheel, and hopped on that. I'll admit, I was freaked out for about 6 minutes and then I began to adjust. The next couple hours consisted of eating Dominos- yes they serve that in Canada, and swimming some much needed laps in the pool. That leads me to this exact moment in time: typing these words on my iPad. Speaking of that, due to the touchscreen interface, I apologize for any grammatical errors.

Did you survive? It was a lot to take in, imagine if I went into detail..we'd both be here all night. I'm grateful for being able to take this trip, and I would like to thank my parents and my grandparents for taking me on this unforgettable journey. Comment. Subscribe. Enjoy..and continue with me on this journey.. DESTINATION: CANADA..., In the wise words of Nicki Minaj, "I wish that I could have this MOMENT 4 LIFE..."
